Major Qualification rule and guidelines

The ADL will be running 2 Majors in 2024, The Masters and the World Championship.

Both will be qualification only, Via the leagues, Cups, and also one-off chances to gain entry via the challenges and also qualifying cups.

The master’s will be played from the 1st of November and will consist of 16 of the top players, All League winners and cup winners will be entered until the 16 places are filled.

The Masters will be set play. (each set is BO5)

  • Last 16 will be 1st to 3 sets – Played between 01/11/24 – 08/11/24.
  • Quarter final will be 1st to 5 sets – Played between 08/11/24 – 15/11/24.
  • Semi final will be 1st to 7 sets – Played between 15/11/24 – 22/11/24.
  • Final will be 1st to 9 sets – Played between 22/11/24 – 30/11/24.

The Amateur Darts League World championship will be played from the 1st to the 31st of September, with the final played on November 2nd – In Northampton (At a night at the darts, Northampton cricket club). The Worlds will consist of 64 players, the top 3 from all leagues will gain a place in the Knockout round of 64 in September, league cup winners and runners up will also get a spot, again we will run separate chances for you all to get entry via the challenges and other one-off cups.

The Amateur Darts League World championship (each set is BO5)

  • Last 64 will be 1st to 3 sets.
  • Last 32 will be 1st to 3 sets.
  • Last 16 will be 1st to 5 sets.
  • Quarter final will be 1st to 7 sets.
  • Semi final will be 1st to 7 sets.
  • Final will be 1st to 9 sets.
