There are many online dart platforms that can be used, but we recommend using something like Nakka or Lidarts or even Dart Counter. The excellent Scolia can be used, but be mindful that the cost of Scolia for some is too great.

Please make sure that you familiarise yourself with at least Nakka and create accounts in advance of your league season game.

The platform for the game MUST be agreed between the players prior to matchday.

Organising of games

All players will be allocated fixtures with a weekly schedule. (1 game per week). If and where possible, please stick to the scheduled fixtures and organise your games in order, week by week.
Players can play more than 1 fixture in a week if this has been organised with your opponent. (The fixture list is a guide, but you may have holidays, etc.. so may need to play 2 or more matches in a week to catch up)
Players are expected to have played at least half of their fixtures by week 5 of the season.
Any player cancelling a fixture that has been organised with your opponent must give 3 hours’ notice (emergencies are an exception).

We recommend using a webcam or similar camera on a tripod or webcam bracket, at around board height zoomed in enough to see all of the board with good lighting!!! (This view should not change after the board view has been approved).

A smartphone can be used, although some may find it difficult to also input scores.

  1. Clear view of every number on the board zoomed in at a good height
  2. Must have lighting
  3. No offensive stickers or images
  4. Try not to use a damaged board…

Along with the game environment, please adhere to the following process when throwing and scoring.

  1. Throw your darts
  2. Call out your score clearly
  3. Enter your score
  4. Remove your darts
  5. Wait for the other person to retrieve their darts -Please do not throw until your opponent has removed their darts and entered their score.
  6. Treat the match the same as a “live” Game and please wait your turn before throwing some players play at different speeds this is part of the game and must be respected at all times .

Please make sure that there is no excessive noise when playing your online game, and please ensure you communicate with your opponent.

League rules and format

Seasons will be played out over 10 weeks, with each league having 8 players.

Each player will play all opponents in their league once. (Format will depend on division).

Games will be played standard 501 rules, with players throwing for the bull to determine who starts 1st (you must agree 1 or 3 darts before bulling off).

League Games are BO10 – 1st to 6 win or 5 -5 draw

Cup Games are BO9 – 1st to 5 for win

All matches can be played on any online darts platform to suit you, providing your opponent agrees. (You must be able to send in a screenshot of your results, including all match stats).

Both players must agree they are happy with board view before the game starts. Board view must not change throughout the match.

Sound must also be agreed. Both players should be happy and agree on background noise as well as score call outs.

All scores must be called out clearly before darts are taken from the board.

Any dart to win the leg must be clearly identified and agreed with by your opponent.

Players must be 18 years of age or older.

Good luck and enjoy……… Game on !
